KEITH SCHULEFAND: I am Keith Schulefand. I am an attorney. I practice primarily in the areas of divorce and family law. My office is located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. I was born and raised in western New York and began the practice of law full time--on a full-time basis in 1989, always here in western New York.
I handle cases that include divorce, child support, custody, visitation, post-judgment divorce matters, including division of retirement assets. I do many military divorces, as there are some nuances in the practice of and handling divorces concerning military personnel. And I am familiar with those.
I wouldn't do this type of work if I didn't care because it's hard work. And it's dealing with people at their worst. And if I didn't care and didn't have a desire to do it, there's certainly areas that are more lucrative and less--and contain much less aggravation and frustration. So if I didn't care and didn't feel like I had a reasonable approach and felt like I could reasonably solve these types of problems, I wouldn't do it.
